UMW Approved Programs are non-Faculty-Led programs which allow students to study abroad at institutions around the world for a summer term, semester, or year. Each program has been vetted by UMW to ensure academic quality and a high degree of excellence. Students may enroll in any approved program that suits their needs. For UMW Exchange Programs, students pay the regular in-state or out-of-state tuition rate (as applicable) to UMW, while all other associated fees (such as room and board) are paid directly to the institution. For all other programs, students pay all fees directly to the program provider or international institution. Pricing and exchange rates for overseas programs vary widely and are subject to change.
