Approved Program Scholarships
If you are going abroad through a UMW Approved Program, you might have scholarship opportunities through your program provider or host institution. For some programs, students are automatically considered for the scholarship(s) upon acceptance; others require additional action on the part of the student. Sorted by provider name.
The scholarship amount listed below is the average annual award. Individual scholarship amounts may vary.

| SIT | SIT Pell Grant Matching Program and Scholarships | $1000 for summer, semester, and year-long programs | This grant provides matching funds for students with federal Pell Grant funding for participation in qualified SIT programs. Additional scholarships available. |
| TEAN | TEAN Affiliate Grant | $500 | UMW students receive $500 off the cost of any TEAN semester program. All students are also eligible for additional TEAN Scholarships. |
