Sometimes UMW travel abroad happens outside of the classroom setting. Whether it’s the UMW Rugby Team traveling to a tournament in Ireland or UMW Philharmonic performing in Italy, these groups are still participating in Education Abroad!

The Center for International Education provides support for international travel for recognized UMW groups by assisting in travel planning, purchasing insurance, and tracking registrations/emergency contact information. UMW Faculty and Staff planning to lead a group overseas can email cie@umw.edu for assistance with these details.
