On behalf of the Chinese Language Program, the Asian Student Association, and the Fredericksburg Chinese Community, we invite you to join us to celebrate the Chinese New Year!
When: February 20th (Saturday) 12:00-4pm.
Where: “Underground Cafeteria”, Lee Hall first floor
Cost: Free
In addition to enjoying a variety of Chinese food and meeting our UMW Chinese/Asian students & Chinese/Asian/American friends there, our celebration also includes some cultural activities, such as lantern riddles, writing Spring Festival couplets, Chinese painting & calligraphy games, Majiang games, and etc. We will serve lunch first, and then will have one-hour-performance programs by our college students and local Chinese Community (such as solo, chorus, koto, dance, piano, talk show, fashion show, and so on). Please just come to have lunch and have fun with us!
