Our ANNUAL EVENT of THE MOST AMERICAN HOLIDAY (is it actually a holiday..??)!!!!
When you are in AMERCAH, you have to do the most AMERICAN thing ever. However, you are too old to go out for trick or treating (at least according to Virginia Law) so there is an alternate (but better) way to celebrate it! King’s Dominion is an amusement park that turns into a spooky Halloween park just for the month of October. If you are a fan of horror movies and love to entertain yourself by seeing people with (fake) blood all over them, ’tis the day!
Bring a little bit of pocket money for food!
Limited number of seats available on the van – reserve your spot by signing up in CIE and paying your $10 admission fee (cash only). First come, first served.
Attend one of the Interest Meetings for the Study Abroad Trip to Venice & Croatia in May 2016, led by Prof. Marjorie Och (Art History) & Prof. Liane Houghtalin (Classics), and learn all about the trip!
Learn how to land a job teaching overseas from UMW alumni who have done it. Guest presenters will join us in person and via Skype to answer your questions.
Learn about opportunities to study abroad in Milan, Italy with our UMW exchange partner Universita Cattolica Sacro Coure from our current exchange students.
Happy Halloween!!!
The best way to spend your Halloween is to carve pumpkins and go trick or treating! There is an event that fulfills both of those! Come to Framer, the international community house on campus, and celebrate the last day of October the legitimate way with everyone 🙂
