Students are strongly encouraged to select a spring study abroad program by October 12th (or Friday, October 19th at the latest, which is also the deadline for scholarship applications)
There are several scholarships available for the spring ’13 semester, namely, the CIE, Abbott, and Incentive Scholarships. For students studying abroad on a UMW Faculty-Led program over winter, spring, or summer break, there is a scholarship available (amount depends on length of program). The scholarship application is on line for semester and Faculty-Led programs.
UMW “Request for Study Abroad Financial Aid” form and supporting documentation of program costs from the program literature is due on November 1st. Students planning to study abroad for the spring ’13 semester should submit the necessary paperwork to the Office of Financial Aid.
UMW Faculty-Led Program “Plays and Performances” in London with Dr. Housley – earn 6 credits for THEA 211 and 212 during three weeks in London!
