Optional Practical Training Information Session

September 7, 2016 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) permits students in F-1 status to work in the United States so that they may reinforce what they have learned in university degree programs. This benefit is called Optional Practical Training (OPT).  To learn about this employment benefit, please attend our OPT Information Session.  It is to your benefit to learn about the OPT application process BEFORE you graduate, as the application takes months to process.  If you plan to work soon after graduating, you must get your OPT application in at least 3 months prior to graduating!
Our OPT Information Session will help you to understand the OPT application process and your rights and responsibilities while you are on OPT.
