Discover French business culture and learn key skills to successful international business interactions in the context of this bustling cultural metropolis.

Included in the estimated cost of the program listed on this page are double-occupancy rooms in shared apartments, with no meals included. For an additional cost, students may opt for local home stays with a meal plan of their choice. Alternatively, for an additional cost, students may elect to stay in a single occupancy room in a shared apartment. All housing fees are payable directly to Comforts of Home Paris (apartments) or Host Families in Paris (home stays).
Students will earn 6 transfer credits for two 3-credit courses at the American Business School of Paris. Students have the option of taking International Corporate Governance with Dr. Rachel Graefe-Anderson and an additional 3-credit course offered at ABS or students can take two 3-credit courses offered by ABS. ABS courses include: Organizational Behavior & Management, Project Management, Consumer Behavior, International Relations and European Strategis, Microeconomics, Innovations in Digital Finance, Doing Business in Europe and Russia, Sustainable Business & Global Innovation, Strategic Luxury Brand Management (subject to availability).
Students may also choose to partake in an extension program titled “Career & Culture” from June 30 – July 15, 2018 to earn an extra 3 credits. The extension program additional cost includes housing and tuition and is estimated at $1305, to be paid directly to ABS. The objectives of this extension program are to help students leverage their time in Paris and expose students to areas that they would normally not have access to – cultural, language, career development, and more. Requirements & Prerequisites
There are no specific prerequisites for this program. Students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA in order to participate. As per UMW credit transfer policies, a grade of C or above is required for courses taught abroad to transfer back to UMW. This program is open to all UMW students regardless of major or year of study. It is also open to non-UMW students.
