Holocaust Memory | Austrian Culture
|Spend your spring break in Germany, guided by Dr. Marcel Rotter and Dr. Jennifer Hansen-Glucklich of UMW’s German Department. Visit historic sites in Vienna and surrounding areas as you study the history of 20th-century antisemitism under the German Third Reich.
Students will stay in a local hostel.
Students will earn 1 course credit for IDIS 350N Holocaust Memory or IDIS 350P Austrian Culture. Students may elect to take both courses (for a combined total of 2 credits) by paying a supplemental program fee. As part of their coursework, students will:

Requirements & Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for either course. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA in order to participate. This program is open to all UMW students regardless of major or year of study. It is also open to non-UMW students.
Faculty-Led Program Scholarships are available to UMW students (deadlines apply).
