Affiliated Education Abroad Programs

UMW recognizes it cannot provide the variety of programs needed for all students’ academic, linguistic and cultural needs. Education abroad providers and direct enrollment in international universities offer valuable learning alternatives to UMW Faculty-Led or Partner Programs.

Below are a list of education abroad programs and overseas univeristities with which UMW is affiliated.

Please note these affiliated programs are offered by “non-UMW” education abroad providers and overseas universities.  All credit earned for these programs must be approved using a UMW Course Approval Form and will appear as transfer credit on the student’s transcript.  Students must earn a “C” or better in order for any credits to transfer, and credit will not be granted for study abroad credits that are not previously approved by UMW.
